Privacy Policy
Effective October 3, 2026
OpusRepo is made by Focus IT Consulting LLC, doing business as Focus IT Development ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information the OpusRepo app and the opusrepo.app website handle. The short version: the app collects nothing, and your lists stay with you.
The OpusRepo app
Information we collect
None. OpusRepo has no accounts, no sign in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no usage tracking. The app does not send your vault, your settings, or information about how you use it to us or to anyone else.
Your vault
Your passwords and other items are saved in a single encrypted vault file. By default it is in a folder in your Windows user profile; you can instead choose a folder, including one that OneDrive, Google Drive, iCloud Drive or Dropbox keeps in sync. Everything in the file is encrypted on your device with a key that comes from your master password, so we cannot read your vault, reset your master password, or recover your data. Up to ten earlier versions of the file are kept in the OpusRepo folder under AppData.
If you put your vault in a cloud synced folder, that service stores and handles the encrypted file under its own terms and privacy policy. OpusRepo does not sign in to those services and does not connect to them.
Recovery kits and share files
A recovery kit or a share file is created on your device and saved where you tell it to go. The buttons beside the recovery kit open the Google Drive, iCloud Drive or OneDrive website in your web browser so you can upload the file yourself. OpusRepo does not log in to those sites, does not upload anything for you, and does not store your cloud login.
One-time code scanning
When you ask OpusRepo to scan your screen for a setup QR code, it briefly hides its own window and reads the screens once, on your device, to find the code. The image is not saved or sent anywhere. OpusRepo does not use a camera.
Optional breach check
This is off unless you turn it on. If you do, OpusRepo sends only the first five characters of a one-way hash of each password to the Have I Been Pwned range service (operated by Troy Hunt) to see whether it appears in known breaches. Your passwords are never sent. That service handles the requests under its own privacy policy.
Settings and the clipboard
OpusRepo remembers a few preferences, such as the idle lock time and quick search shortcut, only on your device. When you copy a password the app puts it on the Windows clipboard and clears it after a short time. Other programs that can read the clipboard may see it before then.
App stores
If you get OpusRepo through the Microsoft Store, Microsoft handles the download under its own privacy policy. These stores may share anonymous, aggregated information with developers, such as download counts, ratings, and crash reports. We use that information only to understand how many people use OpusRepo and to fix problems. It does not identify you.
The opusrepo.app website
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and it loads its fonts from our own server rather than a third party.
If you switch the site between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser so the site remembers it. It is never sent to us.
Like most websites, our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use these logs to identify or track visitors.
Beta tester applications
If you apply to beta test, the form sends us your name, email address, the apps and computers you picked, and anything you write about how you would use the apps. It arrives as an email to beta@opusnex.us and is not stored on the website.
We use it only to run the beta: to choose testers, send you builds, and ask for feedback. We do not sell or share it. To be removed, email beta@opusnex.us and we will delete your details.
If you email us at support at opusrepo dot app, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to help with your question, and we do not sell or share it.
Children
OpusRepo does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above. If a change ever affects what the app collects, we will say so clearly before it takes effect.
